The Science of Dry Storage: Why PE Lamination is Non-Negotiable

While the standard 12x12 weave of a PP bag provides immense strength, the inherent nature of woven fabric means there are microscopic gaps between the strands. For materials sensitive to humidity—such as chemicals, fine powders, or high-end garments—PE (Polyethylene) Lamination is the essential second line of defense.

What is PE Coating/Lamination?

In our factory, we use a high-temperature extrusion process to apply a thin, consistent layer of molten PE resin onto one or both sides of the woven fabric. This creates a solid, impermeable barrier that bonds permanently to the weave.

Benefits for Industrial Storage

  • Contamination Control: Prevents external dust, grease, and pollutants from entering the bag during long-term warehouse storage.
  • Improved Rigidity: Lamination adds an extra layer of structural integrity, helping the bag maintain its shape when stacked.
  • Enhanced Branding: The smooth surface allows for more intricate printing, making it ideal for BOPP full-color lamination.

When to Choose Laminated Bags?

We recommend PE coating for any B2B application involving outdoor storage in humid climates, the transport of agricultural seeds, or the relocation of luxury home textiles. It ensures that your product arrives in the exact same condition it left the factory.
